Vice Chancellor's Message
Engr. Prof. Dr. Samreen Hussain (T.I), Vice Chancellor, Dawood University of Engineering & Technology.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Dawood University of Engineering & Technology — an institution whose roots go back to 1962 and whose graduates have served Pakistan's industry, energy, construction and technology sectors for six decades.
Our agenda is simple: teach well, research what matters, and connect the University to the industry that surrounds it. We have expanded outcome based education across every program, strengthened the Quality Enhancement Cell, and grown our funded research portfolio through ORIC and CEMET.
International collaboration is a priority. Our delegations and partnerships — including work with Jiangxi University in China — have opened joint research, faculty exchange and scholarship routes for our students. Recognition such as the UNIDO Global Call 2023 award confirms that work done in Karachi can compete globally.
To prospective students: DUET is a merit institution. If you bring the effort, we will provide the laboratories, the supervision, the financial assistance schemes and the industry links to convert it into a career.
