Semester rules governing enrolment, attendance, assessment, promotion and graduation for undergraduate students.
Key regulations
- The degree is completed over eight semesters spread across four academic years.
- A minimum of 75% attendance in each course is required to appear in the final examination.
- Assessment comprises sessional work, mid-term and final examination as notified in the course outline.
- A minimum CGPA of 2.0/4.0 is required for promotion and for the award of the degree.
- Students falling below the minimum CGPA are placed on probation for the following semester.
- A maximum of two deficiency courses may be cleared in the summer session.
- Maximum permissible duration for degree completion is seven years from first enrolment.
