Rules for MS/ME coursework, thesis supervision, evaluation and the award of postgraduate degrees.
Key regulations
- MS/ME requires 24 credit hours of coursework and a 6 credit hour thesis.
- A minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 must be maintained for continuation in the program.
- A supervisor is allocated by the Board of Advanced Studies and Research within the first semester.
- Thesis proposals are defended before the departmental postgraduate committee.
- PhD requires 18 credit hours of coursework, a comprehensive examination and a defended dissertation.
- All theses are subject to the University plagiarism policy and HEC similarity limits.
