Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialisation (ORIC)
ORIC governs research policy, funding, industry linkage and commercialisation of University research.
Functions
- Coordinating research policy and the University research committee
- Identifying and circulating national and international funding calls
- Processing grant applications, budgets and progress reporting
- Managing intellectual property, patents and technology transfer
- Supporting the DUET Research Journal and research publication output
- Linking research groups with industry through the Business Incubation Centre
